LDAP contactsIP Trade terminals allow accessing LDAP server's contacts either through global LDAP search feature or using LDAP shortcut group feature. Additionally, “On The Fly” LDAP search tries to find remote party identity of incoming calls. When an incoming call reaches turret without remote party name, system automatically launch an LDAP search attempting to resolve remote party phone number. LDAP usersThe IP Trade solution allows to synchronize users with LDAP to achieve Single sign-on either from a workstation or directly from a turret. Once users are synchronized with TSS, user is able to login either •as the user he is already logged-in on his workstation using the Turret PC App or Seamless login on SoftTurret. •as a previously configured user with immediate login. •as any existing user through manual login by entering user's credentials. Since TSS doesn't know user's password, it is verified directly by the LDAP server. LDAP administratorsThe IP Trade solution also allows to synchronize administrators with LDAP to achieve Single sign-on on the TSS Console administrators.
Once administrators are synchronized with the TSS, the administrator is able to login form the TSS Administration Console login page. |
