The table lists the attributes which are available to IT & voice administrators when defining TPO places for shared DDI lines.

Name

A unique name.  The place name is used in the various administration and configuration screens on the TSS.

Group Id

Specify the configuration set the place belongs to.  Only relevant when redundant setup is considered.

Comment

A free text attached to the place.

Default RTP frame size (ms)

Specify the G.711 RTP payload size for calls established between turrets and the TPO.  By default, 20ms frame size is used. 10ms should be considered only when delays on the communication path must be optimized.

Master call RTP frame size (ms)

Specify the G.711 RTP payload size for calls established between the TPO and distant parties.  By default, 20ms frame size is used. 10ms should be considered only when delays on the communication path must be optimized.  Note that this assumes that intermediate equipments on the communication path i.e. voice gateways, conferencing bridges…. do also support this payload size.

Place type

The place type must be set to RingdownDynamic for activating shared DDI line.

Virtual slot extensions

The number of slots to be allocated for a shared DDI line is defined by the maximum number of call appearances which will be simultaneously opened through the line.

Virtual slot extensions range can be freely set under the following assumptions

·A slot number can not exceed 8 digits in length;

·A slot number can be assigned to one and only one place on the same TPO (overlapping of ranges across different places is not authorized);

·A range can not exceed 30 slots for the same place;

·Virtual slots are not registered extensions and therefore do not consume license points on the IP PBX switch.

Conference mode

Specify how speech path is distributed when multiple participants are connected to the same call established on this line.

·All – All participants can hear the voice of other participants;

·MasterOnly – The distant end can hear the voice of all traders; traders only hear the voice of the distant end (and not of their colleagues);

·See Geographical Conference Mode for a more precise configuration of the conference mode.

Local extensions

Show all lines out of the TPO lines pool (Defined lines list) and which line(s) have been bound to the place (Selected lines list).  Use Add>> and <<Remove button to move lines from one list to another one.
