Inverse replication on TSS/Console
This section describes how to make primary server as secondary server and secondary server as primary server. By doing this, the identifier generation will be inverted on TSS/Console.
•Stop IIS on both servers •On primary server, edit web.config of Console application and change value of tag RangeUId from primary to secondary •On primary server, edit web.config of TSS application and change value of tag RangeUId from primary to secondary •On secondary server, edit web.config of Console application and change value of tag RangeUId from secondary to primary •On secondary server, edit web.config of TSS application and change value of tag RangeUId from secondary to primary •Start IIS on both servers Inverse replication on SQL server
•Be sure TSS/Console are not running (stop IIS on both server) - this prevents desynchronization of both database. •Open SQL Server Management Studio •In Object Explorer, select node Replication > Local Subscriber and select your subscriber •Open menu Edit > Delete •In Object Explorer, select node Replication > Local Subscriber and select your publisher •Open menu Edit > Delete •Recreate publisher and subscriber (check section Install new TSS/Console (With replication) to get more information about SQL replication configuration)
