The general color signification, in a shortcut key context, is described in the following section: Call Key (CK)

It is therefore possible to apply a custom color scheme through the configuration system to meet specific end user wishes.

The color scheme can be seen as a two dimensional matrix combining these two characteristics:

•The call state reflected on the shortcut (Incoming, Held, Established, Outgoing)

•The location of the call

Customizing the color notification scheme serves primarily an aesthetic purpose. The notification behavior will stay the same.

In the DDI Lines Coverage context, a new priority is introduced, Subscribed calls take precedence over Monitored ones and the color notification scheme can reflect this prioritization. A distinct color scheme can be configured for Monitored lines only. This provides an easy and transparent way for the trader to distinguish and prioritize shortcut notification.
