| Trading and C&C > Turret Proxy To Open communication (TPO) |
None of the 3 following values can be exceeded:
Number of TPO Places A TPO is able to support a maximum of 300 places.
Number of Calls A TPO is able to support a maximum of 1200 calls G711 encoded (see matrix here for other codecs/encryption).
Turrets A TPO can support 30000 subscriptions (line and calls) meaning a variable number of turret depending of the configuration
With these 3 values above administrator can figure out how many turrets can be supported depending on each TPO configuration and alternatively spread places over other TPOs.
A best practice rule to figure where the TPO will stand is : number of turret X number of places + 1200 calls. Obviously this could be optimized on some situation if some turrets don't subscribe to all lines or if TPO is dealing with less calls in total but this rule is safe.
Examples: 1) Let's say that a group of 50 turrets must subscribe to 100 places (lines) defined on TPO A.
50x100 + 1200 = 6200 subscriptions --> OK
2) Let's say that a group of 2000 turrets must subscribe to 100 places (lines) defined on TPO A.
2000x100+1200 = 201200 subs -->NOK
3) Let's say that a group of 2000 turrets must subscribe to 10 places (lines) defined on TPO A.
2000x10+1200 = 21200 subs -->OK
4) Let's say that a group of 1000 turrets must subscribe to 250 places (lines) defined on TPO A.
1000x250+1200 = 251200 subs -->NOK
5) Let's say that a group of 3000 turrets must subscribe to 2 places (lines) defined on TPO A.
3000x2+1200 = 7200 subs -->~OK. Each of those 3000 turrets cannot have a call with that TPO as it would break rule #2, however as long as the number of calls stay globally under the call limit that's fine
