Channel Registration |
|
| Voice Recording > Recorders Configuration > Redbox > Configuration > Recorder |
The recording of audio is done with the RTP RAM. In order for the RAM to be able to record any audio, RTP channels must be created on the recorder.
Using a command prompt with the directory set to the location of the RTPRegTool, execute the following command:
•RTPRegTool 127.0.0.1 IPTrade 100
This example will register 100 RTP channels on the local recorder (i.e. assumes the command is being run on the recorder); if the tool is being run on another computer then replace 127.0.0.1 with the IP address of the recorder.
Because the active recording uses a roving mode for channel allocation, the actual number entered should not exceed the number of licensed channels, as this will result in calls not being recording should the number of active recordings exceed the licensed value. After the channels have been registered the recorder will need to be restarted. |
