MySQL requirement for standard TSSStarting from 9.5 (and 9.4.4), the standard TSS, when using the MySQL database flavor, requires a 8.X database system.
MySQL 8 must be installed prior to install or upgrade a TSS firmware on a standard (non-VA) server. This version can be installed along with the previous version(s) of MySQL to keep the previous TSS versions running.
See the MySQL setup section. Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 RedistributableWith the 9.4 version, new dependencies arrived. To properly install these dependencies, you must ensure to upgrade your system to one of the following versions before migrating to 9.5 :
•TPO Bootstrap : 8.4.22, 8.5.19, 9.1.13, 9.2.10 or 9.3.5 •TSS Bootstrap : 8.4.21, 8.5.18, 9.1.12, 9.2.9 or 9.3.4
This step is very important otherwise, the system will not work as expected. Turret bootstrap requirementTurret bootstrap 9.5.0 (and greater versions) requires an OS upgrade level that is greater or equal to the ones mentioned below in order to operate correctly :
•OS.WES7.x64.Upgrade.16_47892.cab •OS.WES7.Upgrade.27_47896.cab •OS.W10.Upgrade.8_47899.cab
Without the correct OS upgrade, the WebAdmin and WebWizard web pages cannot be browsed. Built-in Maintenance Plan for TSS deployed on a standard serverIt is no longer required (but still possible) to manually install and schedule a maintenance plan for each TSS install on a standard server. As for TSS deployed using the virtual appliance, administrators can create a job policy of type "Maintenance Plan" to trigger the execution of the built-in maintenance plan. See how to create a job policy of type "Maintenance Plan".
By default, an instance of this job policy will be present and active on any TSS installed in a Virtual Appliance. TradeSense UpgradeGiven the version X.Y.Z: - X is the major version - Y is the minor version - Z is the patch version
TradeSense versions up to 9.3.11 and 9.4.5 must be upgraded to their respective latest patch version before upgrading to another minor version.
Example : •TradeSense version 9.3.11 needs to be upgraded to 9.3.12 (latest patch for 9.3) before upgrading to 9.5.1 or 9.4.6 •TradeSense version 9.4.3 needs to be upgraded to 9.4.6 (latest patch for 9.4) before upgrading to 9.5.1
This requirement doesn't apply to the first upgrade from a fresh ova.
TradeSense Recording ServerFrom 9.5.1, Voice recording platforms are configured on TSS instead of Assure and the Voice Recording platform menu won't be available anymore on Assure.
New DB engine for AnalyticsFrom version 9.5.4, Analytics is using a new DB engine. This modification means that :
•New dashboards using the new data sources are available. •Existing dashboards are tagged as "deprecated" and won't work anymore.
•Old data is still saved on the server but won't be available to use by default. •If needed, TradeSense team can help the customer to retrieve the old data and restore it in Analytics.
•Analytics can't be installed without Assure anymore. Assure will be installed automatically when upgrading an Analytics only server. •Even if only Analytics is used, the Platform needs to be configured on Assure. |
