Overview

By default Component Manager application is provided with no version installed. A new version must be installed on server to start using it.

You can also use this option if you want to upgrade to another version but don't want to keep previous data.

Install new version

To install a new version of TSS/Console:

•Open the Component Manager in a web browser

•Select the TSS Versions tab

•Press the "Install" new version icon

•A new version is automatically selected as the default version if it it the only one installed.

•The maximum number of installed versions is 5.

•The Use replication option only appears if a replication link is established with a secondary server (see replication link section).

•It is highly recommended to proceed to the TSS Bootstrap upgrade (on both servers, if applicable) prior to installing a TSS firmware with a new release.
