Extension .s not registered

Introduction

IP Trade TSS application need to manage extension .s with .NET framework to run TSS services. If extension is not properly registered you can encounter following errors :

•When trying to access TSS default page you get following message :

 Error: Extension .s is not registered

•Previous message is due to fact TSS call service status.s and this service has extension .s. If you call this service (or another any TSS service) from a web browser or directly vie turret or TPO device you will get same error.

Resolution

Check Enable 32-Bit application is set to false

•Open IIS

•Right click on application pool that run IPTrade website > Advanced Settings...

•Set value Enale 32-Bit Application to false

•Press OK button

Check handler is present in web.config

•Open IIS

•Select IptradeNet.TSS.X.Y.Z application

•Press on Explore button in Action panel

•Open web.config file with text editor (notepad,...)

•Check this line is present in system.webServer/handlers node :
