Enterprise Telephony > Common

The enterprise-class telephony Call History feature on the IPTrade turret and attendant devices offers the ability to track past call activity, by automatically logging three types of call actions:

1.Received calls: inbound calls that have been accepted on the device, or accepted by another user on the same shared line

2.Placed calls: outbound calls that have been at least established

3.Missed-in calls: inbound calls that were not answered

In addition, the Call History offers the following features:

•Permanent visual notification of any missed-in call on the user interface;

•Session-persistent data: call history entries remain available after a log-off / restart of the device, thanks to the TSS server;

•Advanced filtering capabilities:

 per line, to focus on a specific telephony line

 time-filtered, to focus on a specific day

 call log type, to focus on missed-in calls, for example

•State notification on individual call keys on the screen;

•Fast call key creation from any entry in the Call History;

•Detailed information on each entry to see who picked-up a missed-in call (*), or on which line the call was hosted, for example;

•Possibility to add multiple history applet focus on specific filters;

 (*) See Limitations.

The DialPlan usage section describes how call extensions are modified when a call is logged in the Call History.
