Create database user

Introduction

This section describes how to create MySQL that will be used by TSS/Console application.

•Start MySQL Workbench.

•Open connection to server.

•Click on Users and Privileges (Navigator panel).

•Press Add Account button.

•Enter following information:

oLogin Name: iptuser

oAuthentication Type: Standard

oLimit Connectivity to Hosts Matching: %

oPassword: (YourPassword)

oConfirm Password: (YourPassword)

•Press Administratives Roles tab and select DBManager role.

•Select EXECUTE, REFERENCES and SUPER permission in the Global Privileges column

•Press Apply button.


		Passwords used for the TSS install must not contain the following special characters: & < > " # ; = % ' \

You can define strong passwords depending on your local password policy. (Note the excluded characters above)

This password will be used during the install or upgrade of TSS using UIM.
