Prerequisites

Prerequisites exposed in DDI Sharing also apply to Virtual IP mode TPO Cluster. It is recommended to understand such type of place before proceeding to redundancy of a TPO.

On top of that, administrators must provision the virtual IP address (e.g. 10.12.1.73 ) for cluster usage (one for each active node); the subnet in which TPO cluster is installed must accept ARP gratuitous requests. (see recommended network design);

Winpcap installation is mandatory while installing on windows server 2008 or windows server 2003.
