Barge call functionality allows a turret user to join a call while disabling his microphone. The barging user (commonly called the "barger") will then hear the call participants but will not be able to talk with them. This behavior can be used for multiple purposes like monitoring a rookie trader during his calls or taking notes from a call or a conference without being able to disturb it.
When a barger joins a call, traders involved in the call can be advised of the barging operation. This notification can be audio or visual.
Barging functionality also applies to DDI Slots, for more information, please refer to the DDI Barge topic. |
