Supervision call and turrets' type

Users on HE, NE and AL turrets cannot be supervised. However, users on those turrets' type can supervise other users.

Supervision call and exclusive access mode

A special condition exists when exclusive access mode is requested by a trader for a line whereas the rookie trader had the line on the handset and was under supervision. In that scenario, the supervisor will continue to hear the voice of the trader, despite the fact that the rookie trader can not listen and speak to the distant party.

The rookie trader has the line on handset and another trader requires exclusive access. As a result, only the voice of the rookie trader is forwarded to the supervisor since the line has been temporarily removed from its position.

Supervision call and no speaker channel active

A supervision call can not be setup by the boss if there are no speaker channels active on the rookie trader position.

Closing a speaker channel removes the distant party from the supervision call as well.

Supervision calls

Several supervisors can monitor the same position simultaneously; the number of supervision calls which can be accepted is however limited by the available mixing resources. This number is defined as 10 minus the number of channels allocated for active recording.
