Limitations

•Netrix has a fixed set of Ringtones, new WAV files cannot be downloaded to it.

•On the TSS FTP Server the file /Netrix/Data/tss-ringtone-map.json describes the mapping between Ringtone Set Name used on the TSS, e.g. "CustomNetrixRingtone_Chant", and the WAV file played on Netrix e.g. "Chant"

•In the TSS console, it is recommended that a Ringtone Set should be assigned to a Line, a Shortcut, or in Private Profile.

•If a Ringtone set is assigned to a Shortcut Page or a Shortcut Page Link be aware that if a shortcut is on multiple pages, then multiple possible Ringtones could be chosen. Netrix will select one at random (it is probably the first link or page created but this is not guaranteed).

•When a user is editing alarms on at the turret, they are updating the Shortcut, and the updated information can be found under “All” Group on TSS console under Shortcuts tab, Shortcuts options, for the user.

•If a Ringtone Set is configured on a line at the TSS console which has RED or EMERGENCY priority the user cannot override the setting at the turret.

•Netrix  only uses the following Ringtone Set Events;

oIncoming Call

•Netrix  limits the periodicity to between 1 and 5 times.
