Line/Key Mappings

From traders’ perspective, shared DDI lines are introduced in the system as a new type of programmable keys labelled DDI slot.  As for other keys, DDI slots can be freely included in one of the home pages, in programmable key applets, or in any of the personal/shared key pages associated to the user’s profile.  They can be managed directly from turrets or using the TSS administration console.

In order to get access to a shared DDI line, at least one DDI slot needs to be programmed in the trader’s profile.  The key attributes should be

•The Label displayed on the key ;

•The Type which must be set to DDI slot ;

•The Phone extension which value must be obtained from the IT & voice administration ;

Newly added DDI slots are activated immediately after being saved in the trader’s profile.
