DDI Lines & Private Wires

IPTrade system allows DDI sharing line to be used for connection to Private Wires lines.

Automatic ringdown lines (ARD) as well as manual ringdown lines (MRD) can be configured as DDI line properties.

A private wire is represented on a DDI slot. There's exactly one private wire per slot.

In other words, maximum 30 private wires can be configured on a single DDI line (one per slot).

Dealing with such configuration allows user to make a conference between the Private Wire and another DDI regular remote party.

Additionally, user takes advantages of other DDI line capabilities such as "on-the-fly" subscribing.

This section refers to DDI sharing lines and to Private Wire, it is strongly recommended that the reader has basic understanding of the concept of DDI sharing line and Private Wires.
