Audio Device Association

FlexCom is operational when the PC audio devices are properly associated to the FlexCom logical device (Monitor).

The user is able to associate the PC audio devices to the FlexCom devices by using the audio Options panel.

Moreover, FlexCom constantly checks if the devices association are OK. If it detects an incoherence (PC audio device is unplugged, wrong configuration), it will do the following actions for safety approach to avoid an unwanted broadcast of a user's conversation:

At the start up

1.Display the audio Options panel

2.Automatically associate the logical device which is incoherent to the Windows Default communication device

3.Mute the PC audio device related to FlexCom

4.Once it is validated by clicking on the OK button of the audio Options panel , FlexCom un-mutes it

At run time

1.Display the audio Options panel

2.Mute the PC audio device related FlexCom

3.Once it is validated by clicking on the OK button of the audio Options panel , FlexCom un-mutes it

WARNING: by muting the PC audio device, others applications using this device are also impacted.
