Download the Tradesense firmware bundle from the extranet

 

Scp the bundle onto the server as a user.

 

Extract the zip file and move into the extracted directory such as  "btpt-bundle-10.1.5.12/BTProductivityTools/Packages/ssbundle/10.1.5.12"

 

Switch to the root user

sudo su -

 

Extract the tar into /usr/local

tar -xzf /home/<user>/btpt-bundle-10.1.5.12.tgz -C /usr/local

Root user account is required for installation and run-time of the K3s stack

Tools

For managing the kubernetes cluster we recommend installing K9s on the host.

 

To be able to connect kubectl & k9s to the k3s cluster config from the host machine the following enviroment variable must be set.

export KUBECONFIG=/etc/rancher/k3s/k3s.yaml
