Using the TradeSense on a standard server

For customers who require more flexibility we now support a standard Linux server deployment of the BT Tradesense components

The customer provides the underlying operating system and install the Tradesense as an application only. BT provides a scripted bundle automating this installation process. Tradesense components run as Kubernetes containers and the bundle contains the installation of the K3s orchestration layer. K3s isa lightweight, fully compliant Kubernetes distribution that allows us to run the same setup on premise as is available in the full K8s cloud deployments.

In this deployment method the customer takes responsibility for securing and patching the operating system. Whilst the container workload and the Kubernetes cluster installation are managed by BT.
