The Internet Information Service (IIS) logs every request it handles.

Those logs could be useful when the TSS, Console or Component Manager is not able to log properly or when a request is made to another application on the server such as Ftp or Http outside of IPTrade routes, especially when suspecting a cyber-attack on the server.

It is only a few bytes per request, but knowing that an IPTrade turret is performing at least one request per minute, at the end of the day it makes a huge amount of data. As Microsoft didn't implement a rotation mechanism, it is the administrator's responsibility to clean them up periodically; Either manually or using a scheduled task.

With the default configuration, they can be found in C:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1; one new file is created every day.
