Limitations about Custom Ringtones

•Custom ringtones are encoded in a WAV format with 16 kHz sampling rate. Consequently, custom ringtones will only be available for Turrets with XMA2 or FlexPro. Turrets with XMA1 (which requires WAV audio files with 8 kHz sampling rate) or without XMA are not be able to play custom ringtones.

•The maximum length of a custom ringtone is fixed at 20 seconds.

•The name of a custom ringtone must be unique and can not be the same as the one of a built-in ringtone, even if the built-in ringtone has been deleted.

•It is possible to upload up to 60 custom ringtones in the TSS Console.

•All the custom ringtones are downloaded during the boot sequence of the application or the user login sequence. A logged in user must logs out and logs back in to get new custom ringtones uploaded in the TSS Console  while he was logged in.
