User creation and setup

In order to authenticate on the FlexCom, LDAP users must be defined in the TSS. These users can either be created manually or retrieved (fetched) from an LDAP directory.

Fetching LDAP users

Configure a LDAP Directory

Create one or more LDAP directories  to fetch LDAP users. See LDAP Corporate configuration.

Fetch the user(s)

Once it is configured, browse to Account Management > Users and press the LDAP Sync button. The TSS creates a new FlexCom user for every user in the configured Organization Unit.

Seamless login

Seamless login is a feature that automatically authenticates the FlexCom using the current user of the computer when the turret application is launched.

In the TSS settings

User configuration

Once the users are created, either by fetching them from LDAP or manually, administrators may edit them by browsing the TSS's console to Account management > Users. Selecting a user opens the User's edition form.

In this form, six tabs are available:

1.General: User name, password, zone and shared profiles association

2.Lines

3.Adv. Telephony: IPTrade intercom groups

4.Settings: Intercom configuration is under the group "Intercom" on the left side list

5.Screen layout: Intercom applets type, Access Buttons and preferred shortcut groups

6.Shortcuts: Available shortcut types are Intercom and Group Intercom; they must be linked to a shortcuts page that is in the "preferred shortcut groups" to be available in the FlexCom's interface.
