This scenario illustrates a situation where turrets are located in New York (GMT-5).

The description assumes that the system boot setting configuration is as follows

•setting profile.setting.timezone.bias is set to 300;

•setting profile.setting.timezone.daylightdayofweek is set to 0;

•setting profile.setting.timezone.daylightday is set to 2;

•setting profile.setting.timezone.daylightmonth is set to 3;

•setting profile.setting.timezone.daylighthour is set to 2;

•setting profile.setting.timezone.daylightbias is set to -60;

•setting profile.setting.timezone.standarddayofweek is set to 0;

•setting profile.setting.timezone.standardday is set to 1;

•setting profile.setting.timezone.standardmonth is set to 11;

•setting profile.setting.timezone.standardhour is set to 2;

•setting profile.setting.timezone.standardbias is set to 0;

Having the bias set to -60 (minutes) selects the time zone is set to GMT+1 with the default value for daylight saving time.

Having the bias set to 300 (minutes) selects the time zone GMT-5. Other settings indicate that the daylight saving time period begins on the second Sunday of March at 2:00 AM and adds one hour to the turret time. It ends on the first Sunday of November at 2:00 AM, and the time is set back to the original local time in the time zone.
