This is the default type associated with the first applet.
To connect to a group intercom, user can either
•be a member of this group to automatically connect at login •have a group intercom shortcut to the group's extension.

When nobody is speaking on the group intercom, the shortcut stays idle.
This doesn't mean that the user is not connected.

When the user presses the shortcut, its center becomes green.
This means he's connected and talking to the group.

When another user actively talks on the intercom group, the shortcut's border starts blinking orange and the talker identity of the other user appears in the center.
This means they are both connected and actively talking on the intercom group.
When the user presses the shortcut again, if he is not member of the intercom group, he is disconnected and the shortcut turns back idle.

When the user presses the shortcut again, if he is member of the group, he stays connected but stops talking. The other user is still talking.
The shortcut is now purple with a blinking orange border. The name of the talking user is still displayed.
