Preferred device and video capacity

The turret determines the capture device and the video capture capacity in the following way:

Capture Device

1.If preferred device is defined in the configuration and corresponds to an existing device, the turret uses it, otherwise

2.If an external USB webcam is connected on the turret, it is considered as the preferred one, otherwise the build-in webcam is the preferred device

Video capture capacity

1.If preferred video capacity is defined in the configuration and corresponds to an existing capacity, the turret uses it, otherwise

2.If 352*288 or 320*240 capacity available and that the raw image format is YUY2, it is considered the preferred one, otherwise the webcam is disabled

Video capture capacity for the TouchPro and the FlexPro

With the TouchPro and the FlexPro, we cannot know which webcam will be connected. So, it's impossible to define a default capability for it.

You must choose a capability yourself. To do that :

1.Look in the "Video capabilities dump" section of the Debug Info' System Information file to get the list of video devices and their capabilities

2.Configure the setting "profile.setting.videocall.preferredcapacityid".

Video Call	Preferred Capability Id Key: profile.setting.videocall.preferredcapacityid Description: Defines which video capability is used for capturing video when placing video calls. Constraint: Numerical value, must be the id of a video capture capability on the turret. If not specified, the system chooses the default 352 * 288 capability. If none, it chooses the default 320 * 240 capability. These 2 default capabilities use the raw image format YUY2. To get the list of video devices and their capabilities, look in the "Video capabilities dump" section of the Debug Info' System Information file. Warning : For the T4-Flex and the FlexPro, the system will not always choose a default capability. You must choose a capability yourself. Related settings: Preferred Device Id (profile.setting.videocall.preferreddeviceid)
