Voice Recording From Turrets

Voice Recording

In this case, recorder platform and IPTrade turrets actively establish a session. IPTrade turrets provides to the recorder the CTI information as well as the voice and thus the recorder must be recognized as compatible with IPTrade platform. IP Trade devices has two modes of recording:

• Separated

The IP Trade device sends to the Recorder Server a copy of the streams of each call.

Then It sends one copy for the input stream of the call and another copy for the output stream of the call.

•Mixed

This feature enables mixing of multiple calls on the same recording channel. The goal behind this feature is to allow recording calls that are already mixed on the turret loudspeakers onto one unique channel.

✓The turret can support from 1 recording channel to 10 recording channel. Each recording channel represents a mixing bucket in which calls can be dropped for mixing. The in and out stream of calls are mixed together in one single stream whatever the bucket contain one or many calls.

✓A call can be switch to another defined recording channel but cannot be put on multiple channels.

✓The turret configuration specifies whether this mixing mode or the previous separated mode is used but both modes cannot be used together.

✓The turret configuration specifies which logical devices take part to a bucket. A logical device can only take part to one single bucket.

✓Logical devices represent available slots on the GUI of the turret where a call can be put. A logical device is mapped on one physical device for handsets.  It exist different logical device for the loudspeaker and intercom speaker as multiple calls can be put on the loudspeaker/intercom speaker. In this case we talk about LD1.1, LD1.2, LDx.y logical device for the loudspeaker and LDI1.1, LDI1.2, LDIx.y for the intercom speaker. On the GUI this corresponds to one available slot on the monitored lines. All these slot point to the same physical device: the internal loudspeaker.
