We have encountered several situations where the network was not well configured.

Therefore, for time to time, TPO did not receive RTP packets.

This caused degradation of the voice quality or in the worst case a drop of the call of the turret’s users.

Thanks to the OLDCB packets statistics we will have some measures of the network quality from the TPO point of view.

Then we will be able to indicate the network issue to the customer.

The directory OLDCB\statistics\ contains the daily saved statistics files in the format <YYYY>_<MM>_<DD>-<HH>_<MIN>_
.txt

YYYY: year, MM: month, DD: day, HH: hour, MIN: minute, SEC: second

Example: 2015_03_15-16_10_25.txt

The contents of the file is:

•Definitions:

➢ProgrammedSaveTime: It’s the time where TPO daily save the statistics information to a file. The format is <hour>:<min> where hour is in 24h.

➢Example: 23:40

➢StartuptoSaveDuration: It’s the duration between the TPO startup to the ProgrammedSaveTime. Example it the ProgrammedSaveTime is programmed to 23h and the TPO is started at 12h, the StartuptoSaveDuration is 11h.

➢SaveToSaveDuration: The duration is 24h.

•The statistics information

Information

What is it

Number created input streams

Number of new created input streams during StartuptoSaveDuration or SaveToSaveDuration

Number active input streams

Number of input streams at ProgrammedSaveTime

Number created output streams

Number of new created output streams during StartuptoSaveDuration or SaveToSaveDuration

Number active output streams

Number of output streams at ProgrammedSaveTime

Average jitter

It is calculated by the mean jitter of destructed input streams mean jitter and the mean jitter of active input streams

Max jitter

Max jitter from all input stream

Number of  lost RTP packet

Number of no received input stream RTP packet which generate the RTP timeout event

Number of dropped RTP packet

If the jitter buffer is full and is not able to handle RTP packet, it drops a number of First received packets.

Number of total dropped RTP packet

Optional keys:

•OLDCB.STATISTIC.ENABLED: Activate/deactivate the statistics of audio streams.

•OLDCB.STATISTIC.SAVETIME: Define the daily save time of audio statistics.

•OLDCB.STATISTIC.NBDAY.CLEANOLDERFILES: Define the number of days which the saved statistic files are considered as older to clean.
