Trading and C&C > Turret Proxy To Open communication (TPO) > DDI Sharing > PBX Phone Access > Usage

Considering an IPTrade terminal calling a remote party by using a DDI line, the used slot is in public talking mode (see below). The IPTrade terminal user and the Remote Party can hear and talk to each other.

A PBX phone needs to reach the used slot to join the conversation. He have to follow these steps:

1.The PBX Phone’s user calls the Access point extension. The call is automatically accepted.

2.The PBX phone’s user enters the DTMF digits followed by the # to join the slot. If the sequence is not properly done, the call will ends, if the sequence is properly done the PBX phone, IPTrade terminal and remote party can hear and talk to each other.

Example: The phone’s user 1120 would like to access on the slot 101 of a DDI sharing line 5041.

Extension 5042 is configured as PBX phone access line on the DDI place. The user 1120 calls 5042 to access the DDI line and uses DTMF sequence 101# to join the slot 101.
