Muting your Handset

Trading and C&C > Netrix > Basic Call functions > Usage

Mutes your handset so that your voice is not transmitted.

This is a toggle-action key, press again to remove mute.

With a call on a handset:

press mute handset

…in the call on active menu

mute handset enabled

Status label on the handset field: Muted (flashing)

Netrix Handsets

The handset can also be muted using the rocker switch or by holding down the switch in the handpiece (if configured as push-to-mute).


		The mute handset key and mute switch on the Netrix handset can be used in conjunction. For example, you can initially mute your handset using the mute handset menu key, then remove mute by using the rocker switch on the handset. Once the rocker switch is used to mute, then the menu option is greyed out.
