External Keyboards are physical devices that can be plugged in a turret's USB port, and that add access to some turret functions through hard keys.

These hard keys offer a very fast way to operate the IPTrade devices, and thus making a call, placing a call on hold, and several other actions can be performed without touching the device's touch screen.

The available hard keys can be regrouped in:

•Direct call action keys, such as initiating a new call, putting a call on hold, etc.

•Monitor call action keys, that allow acting on monitored calls, such as increasing the call speaker volume, or enabling the microphone

•Access keys, that allow having access to several turret features such as the Call History panel, enabling call forward, etc.
