DDI Lines & Radio Systems

Multicast

On IP world, modern radio system is based on IP Multicast voice streaming. IPTrade HE, LI, NE, NA, AL, SI and AR allow DDI sharing line to take into account the specificity of these radio streaming.

The user is thus able to handle radio system‘s call on a DDI slot and also has the possibility to make a conference’s call between a remote party in a radio system’s line and a DDI’s remote party.

DMR AIS

An alternative to multicast is the DMR AIS protocol. Only unicast connections are used by this protocol.

The DMR Application Interface (AIS) is a SIP based interconnection for DMR radio systems.

It is suitable for dispatch, voice recording and data applications.

The DMR AIS supports:

•Individual and group calls

•Supplementary services

•User data signaling
