Windows touchscreen configuration

The Windows touchscreen configuration may interfere with the gestures available on the FlexPro + XMA2. Especially, the long-press action available on some elements inside the interface is not available if Windows is configured to interpret them specifically. To allow the long-press to work, go to Control Panel, Pen and Touch, select the Touch tab, edit the Press and hold setting and uncheck Enable press and hold for right-clicking.

Usage

Start-up phase

If XMA2 is not detected by the Bootstrap, the turret application fails back to FlexPro.

Application window

The application window size depends on the physical display screen size:

•If the screen resolution width is smaller than 1366 pixels, the application window size is fixed to 1024 pixels;

•Otherwise (screen resolution width is greater than or equal to 1366 pixels), the application window size is fixed to 1366 pixels;

When window is re-sized, shortcut panels are not automatically refreshed. This may induce shortcut grid that doesn't fill the panel area or shortcuts columns hidden off the panel area. A manual refresh (e.g. by pressing the shortcut page button again) will fix the problem.

Video

Video calls or video streaming is possible but the video window cannot be moved.

NIC adapter selection

Once "Remember my choice” has been activated, the only mean to get back to the original behavior is removing a particular key in a flat text configuration file (as explained in Trouble Shooting Guide).

List of connected NICs isn’t updated while pop-up window is displayed. It is built just before being displayed and are not updated with connection status updates. That means a NIC that is not connected when the list is displayed doesn’t automatically appears when user plugs the network cable. User needs to cancel application start and re-launch it.

Connectivity

The user may lost temporary network connectivity in these circumstances:

-Upgrade of XMA2 firmware on the first launch of the FlexPro + XMA2  after the installation.

This happened when XMA2 running version differs of the XMA2 package version.

-When the configuration settings of the XMA2 is changed on the TSS.

When the user changes the network behind the XMA2 (for example using the second network port of his PC), the XMA2 must be rebooted to take into account the new MAC address.

Syslog

FlexPro + XMA2 launches a Syslog relay on the PC Host. If any other application uses the Syslog default port, the syslog will not be functional for FlexPro + XMA2.
