Devices Association

FlexPro is operational when the PC audio devices are properly associated to the FlexPro logical devices (Handset 1, Handset 2 and Monitor).

The user is able to associate the PC audio devices to the FlexPro devices by using the audio Options panel.

Moreover, FlexPro constantly checks if the devices association are OK. If it detects an incoherence (PC audio device is unplugged, wrong configuration), it will do the following actions for safety approach to avoid an unwanted broadcast of a user's conversation:

At the start up

1.Display the audio Options panel

2.Automatically associate logical devices which are incoherent to the Windows Default communication device

3.Mute all PC audio devices related to FlexPro

4.Once it is validated by clicking on the OK button of the audio Options panel , FlexPro un-mutes all

At run time

1.Display the audio Options panel

2.Mute all PC audio devices related to FlexPro

3.Once it is validated by clicking on the OK button of the audio Options panel , FlexPro un-mutes all

WARNING: by muting the PC audio devices, others applications using these devices are also impacted.
