LDAP contacts validity

In order to reload LDAP contacts every once in a while, you can set their validity period using the setting profile.setting.ldap.validity .

This setting and represents (in minutes) the time before which LDAP contacts are considered outdated.

After being marked outdated, contacts are either updated immediately (if they are currently displayed or if they must be loaded at logon time) or they are going to be updated the next time they will be displayed.

The LDAP contacts refresh process can slow down the device graphical interface (causing, in some cases, up to one second freeze), depending on the frequency of LDAP contacts updates. Set the LDAP validity value accordingly.

LDAP On The Fly search results validity

In order to get up to date LDAP on the fly search results, you can set their validity period using the setting profile.setting.ldap.otf.validity.

This setting is expressed in seconds and represents the time the turret is going to keep LDAP search contacts after the end of the call.
