Traps based on punctual SNMP variable values are checked each time the referenced value change. No particular delay has to be defined on that kind of trap as a check is systematically made on value change.
Traps based on continuous SNMP variable values are checked each time the referenced value is push by the applicative layer. As applicative layer only push variable value on SNMP module request, SNMP module as to periodically verify if trap has to be checked or not to avoid trap not to be checked.
Trap check delays can be configured with these settings:
| Location: Terminal Boot Settings, TPO Shared Settings, TPO Boot Settings |

It is also possible to define different delay separately for each trap. In order to change a particular trap check delay, use the following key:
application.global.snmp.trap.<trap name>.checkdelay
application.global.snmp.trap.<trap OID>.checkdelay
Where:
<trap name> is the name of SNMP trap (not prefixed with the parent names)
<trap OID> is the entire OID of SNMP trap from SNMP tree root, including 1.3.6.1.4.1.30191.1
