Local Survivability |

Local survivability is a degraded mode for turrets or TPO that allows both system to work with the last known good configuration.
Let's think about a small remote site where a couple of turrets stand. From a TCO point of view, installing a local TSS or CUCM has no sense. The logical way would mean install a small SRST capable gateway in order to provide minimal calls capabilities while no other servers or devices are needed.
This is local survivability, in this mode turret loose at least free seating and centralized call entry but can still be used locally with the last logged in user and local SRST gateway. |
