Corporate Directory

This feature enables end-users to search and to browse the content of the corporate directory published on the local soft-switch.  

By corporate directory, we mean the list of users/extensions registered in an LDAP server.  

TSS can also create an interface to CUCM Directory it is of course a CUCM only related feature. It doesn't change much the user interface except that the amount of information available in this directory is limited.

Three functions are available

•End-user queries the corporate directory by specifying a combination of three criteria: first name, last name and phone extension.  If no criteria are specified, then all entries in the corporate directory are retrieved up to a pre-defined number of records.

•End-user places a call using a phone extension found in one entry fetched out of the corporate directory.

•End-user dispatch a call using a phone extension found in one entry fetched out of the corporate directory.

When a search criterion is specified, the system looks for all entries starting with the string value.  

Different search criteria are combined using the logical AND operator.  

Search criteria values are case insensitive.
