Group Intercom

Prerequisites

•The user is logged in

•A direct intercom shortcut is available and configured with the numbers of people he wants to reach trough intercom

•It is supposed that the configuration has been properly done (see Configure section)

Basic scenario

The user needs to talk to a group of users and/or CISCO phones through intercom. He presses the intercom shortcut and talk to the group by using the microphone.

Remarks

1)In a group intercom over CISCO configuration, two kind of users exist:

a.The trader which talks to the intercom over CISCO (named "the talker" below)

b.Users who listen to the talker (named "remote parties" or "remote users" below)

2)A group intercom call can be used when user is configure in CISCO mode. A group intercom over CISCO call can't be established at the same time as the group intercom call but the user can listen to the group intercom at the same time as he talks on the group intercom over CISCO.

3)A talker can talk to every participant in the group. The remote user who talks back only talk to the talker, the other participants can't hear him.
