•An Intercom place is able to host 150 calls but it can be extended by using another Intercom Place of another TPO. To do that, the administrator must configure the Intercom link to connect the two Intercom places.
•PBX intercom vs direct TPO intercom The Group intercom feature's talker functionalities are not supported on intercom lines contacted directly through the PBX but are limited to the direct TPO intercom.
•IPT Connect IPT Connect does not handle Group Intercom talkers as well as the turret does not display Group Intercom talkers from the IPT Connect application.
•Connecting to already-opened Group intercom lines When connecting (authenticating) on a turret, already-active talkers on Group Intercom lines are not notified. Only new talkers are notified.
Context: User1 on turret1 and User2 on turret2 are logged and connected to Group Intercom 1000. User3 on turret3 is not logged.
1. User1 speaks on the Group Intercom; User2 can see the talker ID on the Intercom shortcut.
2. User3 is logging in. The talker Id information is not forwarded to User3. User3 is not able to see the talker ID.
•When using Group Intercoms, turrets configured for Skype for Business can only connect to TPOs configured for Skype for Business too.
•When user has several priority intercom configured, last one which is active is unmuted, other ones are muted. When last active priority intercom becomes inactive, another priority intercom, randomly chosen, is unmuted. |
