On the fly changes

It’s possible to change existing logger’s level while TPO is running. That may be useful to analyze an unexpected behavior that appeared at runtime without having to restart the application.

R&D may require you to change trace level on the fly in order to investigate an issue. When TPO is connected to the TSS, log level can be changed on the fly through TSS console TPO form.

In TSS console TPO edition form (Device Management > TPOs or System > Sessions > Device Sessions) :

Change configuration using drop downs and validate changes clicking on “Apply” button.

Active levels are indicated by the little star (*). You can check changes have been applied by clicking refresh button. It may take one or two minutes to make the changes effective.
