Trace engine allows getting information about operations executed by an IP Trade component.

Depending on configuration traces are written in local file, sent to the Windows Event Viewer and/or sent to the Database.

Trace engine is configured using:

•Loggers:

oEach logger can be defined to produce log using the following format: file, event viewer (eventviewer) and/or database (db).

oEach logger can trace different categories of event with different level.

oA logger needs to have defined targets.

•Targets: The target is an entity able to receive the log send by the logger, it can be a file, event viewer, database etc…

Default common configuration is provided in all server installation and can be configured through the web interface (Component Manager and TSS Console inside System > Settings > Console Logger Settings / TSS Logger Settings).
