Retrieving Logging Service logs

Introduction

This section describes how to retrieve logging service logs on TSS and Embeded TSS. In case of error with the logging service it is very useful to provide this file to IP Trade support team to help to identifying and resolve problem.

Navigation in the syslogs list

The Logging Service logs can be retrieved using the syslog list inside the TSS, like a Turret or a TPO (System > Monitoring > Syslogs). Once the syslogs list is displayed, search for "LoggingService" device name (filter can be used for convenience).

Press on "LoggingService", the logs of LoggingService will be displayed in a new Window. In order to download it, you can click on the "Download" button.

Get the file from file explorer

It is possible to retrieve the log file using a file explorer. Navigates to the configured path for device syslogs (default: F:\Syslog or C:\Syslog) and search for the file named "Syslog.LoggingService.log".
