UsersFrom users’ perspective, TPO Cluster is almost invisible.
During the migration to another TPO node, a short glitch in the sound will be heard on each call hosted on the failing TPO.
The TPO Cluster will NOT restore non-established outgoing calls. E.g. an outbound call placed through DDI sharing will NOT be restored unless the remote party has accepted the call from TPO point of view before the failure occurs. Once the call is accepted, the call will be part of restored calls in case of TPO failure.
Administrator/users must keep in mind that the same principle applies to all non established outgoing calls i.e. transfer sequence, conference sequence and so on.
Turret Administration
The cluster is working using virtual IP addresses – registered dynamically - for active nodes. Turrets configuration will use virtual IP addresses instead of standard addresses. The cluster automatically registers virtual IP addresses on active nodes.
