Hardening the network

Using TPO cluster strongly increase TPO reliability. However if the network itself lead to have a single point of failure, TPO cluster will bring less reliability than expected. As an example, if network switch where TPOs are plugged in fails, no TPOs will be able to handle anything. That’s why IPTrade recommend using TPO host with teaming capability, attaching each TPO NIC to a redundant switching system. IT Team must then insure a proper gateway redundancy using protocol like HSRP.
