Session Persistency

Cisco CuCM (v10.x) does not support line registration with domain in contact header.

This limitation prevents to provide a unique DNS redundancy scheme.

But thanks to “Session Persistency” of CuCM present in version 10.x (or later), a SIP endpoint can change its IP address and/or port dynamically and maintain its active registration and existing voice calls.

This mode is available on IP-PBX CISCO CuCM 10.x / Avaya Aura 7.x / Avaya IP Office 9.2 or later versions.
