Limitations

•Only LLDP-MED Auto-discovery of LAN policies is supported. The other facilities Device location, PoE and Inventory are not supported.

Important: Only the Network Policy with Application Type "Voice" is taken into account by the Turret (see network trace below)

•Limitation due to LLDP-MED is only activated during a short time at the startup of the XMA2 boot:

▪When the administrator connects the XMA2 on the fly to a switch with LLDP-MED, it must reboot it to take into account LLDP-MED

▪The Switch may not consider the Turret as a neighbor

•LLDP-MED is only initialized on a power on of the turret, it is not resent on subsequent reboots.
