In Netrix 9.3 legacy user settings (i.e. as used on BT Session Manager) were stored as JSON blobs on the TSS (to speed up the development of Netrix 9.3)
In Netrix 9.4 these legacy user settings have been (predominately) split out into individual settings, which is how the T4 works and aids configuration of Netrix in the TSS console.
Hence when upgrading from 9.3 to 9.4, some Netrix user settings will need to be ported from their 9.3 representation to the new 9.4 representation.
Note not all settings need to be ported – only the ones with a non-default value – which is (hopefully) a small subset
Note this document does not list all Netrix user settings – but only those that have changed between 9.3 and 9.4 – i.e. if it’s not listed here the original 9.3 user setting is still supported.
netrix.settings.alarms
In 9.4 Netrix now uses the same ringtone set configuration data as T4s – hence a lot of the 9.3 alarms configuration is no longer used.
Alarm profiles have been replaced by ringtone sets (note only incoming and incoming handset busy events are used)
The default alarm profile is set by configuring the ringtone set on the user’s private profile.
