| Enterprise Telephony > Common > Conferencing > Simplified Conference |
1.The simplified conference does not work when placing calls using the dial pad. 2.As mentioned in the Configure section, enabling automatic actions (placing, accept) disables the simplified conference feature, as these two features are incompatible. 3.When the main call (the call that is established on the handset while other calls are ringing for a conference) is terminated by the remote party, all the calls that are ringing on the device are automatically terminated as well. 4.There is no call duration timer available when establishing a simplified conference. 5.The simplified conference only works with standard incoming calls; distant incoming calls cannot be injected. 6.Simplified Conference does not work with call keys that have a specific target device that is not a handset. 7.The Simplified conference (outbound calls) only works if Dispatch feature available on call key is disabled (profile.setting.dispatch.is.on.callkey), as these features are incompatible. 8.The simplified conference (outbound calls) only works with Contacts, Extension shortcuts and active call (i.e. the only way to use it with a DDI Slot shortcut is to establish the call using this shortcut first) 9.The simplified conference (outbound calls) will not bypass the maximum outbound calls on the turret (application.global.telephony.maxoutbound). If this limit is reached, exceeding calls are dropped. For instance a collection shortcut pointing to a group of 80 shortcuts on a turret where the maximum outbound calls is set to 10 will create a conference with 10 people. Once calls are established, it is possible to manually add more participants in the conference. 10.When using a collection shortcut to create a conference, its Shortcut key must remain empty, otherwise the system will simply initiate a new outbound call instead of using it for the simplified conference. |
